Hacienda One Day Adventure 45 minutes from Liberia
One of the best things to do in Costa Rica in our opinion and we have done many tours!! We say this because of the sheer variety of activites that you can complete all in one day at one location at a pretty reasonable rate.
The Tour The pass gets you onto the grounds of the Hacienda for a day jam-packed with fun and adventure!! So make sure you're ready for some action! Highlights: Canyon Tour - see how many different ways you can be suspended in one day?! Tour includes rock climbing, rappeling, zip line, suspended bridges, and a Tarzan Swing to bring out the jungle in you). Next you can watch the forest go by and try to maintain some balance tubing down the Rio Negro (when the river is high enough)!

After that take a leisurely horse back ride to either Las Chorreras Waterfall or Oropendola Waterfall. Las Chorreras is a double waterfall that forms a shimmering blue pool due to cobalt deposits in its waters. Oropendola Waterfall is 25 ft high and great for daredevils who fancy a giant leap. Rather you than me!
	At the end of the day you can take a well-deserved dip in the Hacienda's Hot Springs and benefit from the soothing properties of the Volcanic Mud pool.

Rates

$75 US per adult, $70 US per student and $65 US per child. (includes lunch). Rates valid through November 25, 2006.
Open from 7.30 am to 5 pm. (You need to be at the Hacienda by around 8 am to do all that is included above. If you wish to arrive later you can choose to do 3 of the adventures).

$105 US per person with transportation from Liberia.

$125 US per person with transportation from the Guanacaste beaches.

Location

At the edge of Rincon de la Vieja National Park, the Hacienda is about 35 kms north east from the city of Liberia, a 11/2 hour drive from Papagayo or Playa del Coco and about 2 1/2 hours from Tamarindo.
