Corobici Floating Safari

For nature lovers this is an excellent tour, offering you the chance to experience one of Costa Rica's most bountiful natural habitats. You are guaranteed to see an abundance of wildlife as you cruise slowly along the placid Corobici River. There's no need to row as our guide will do the rowing for you, though if you'd like to pitch in feel free. The Corobici is a Class I/II river with no whitewater and thus is the perfect trip for those with children and those who want to concentrate on the flora and fauna that Costa Rica is so famous for. Along the Corobici you will find most of the wildlife that populates the nearby Palo Verde National Park such as howler and white-faced monkeys, iguanas and a multitude of birds for example: ospreys, kingfishers, cormorants and various species of heron.

Food!

• All tours include refreshments and life jackets as well as an experienced bilingual guide who can tell you all about your surroundings.
• Lunch is at the local Hacienda La Pacifica and is the typical Costa Rican 'casado' of rice, beans and salad with a choice of tilapia (local fish), chicken, pork, beef or a vegetarian option

Minimums!

• We require a minimum number of 2 people in order to operate each tour.
• Minimum age is 4 and children between the ages of 4 and 12 are charged at half price.
